Northerly breezes brought an unseasonable chill to some por tions of the state and, sweeping ashore from Lake Michigan, produced an overnight soggy snowfall of several inches near the lake. But the National Weather Service said a warming trend from the Great Plains, producing a little rain tonight in northern counties, should raise temperatures to near 60 by the weekend. Milwaukee recorded 3.7 inches of snow in 24 hours by 7 a.m., an all-time record accu AA Alcoholics Anonymous Women's Group will meet at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Mental Health Center.

Golf course fee increases are proposed Fee increases have been proposed for Rolling Meadows Golf Course in 1977, but the Parks and Development Com' imttee, which oversees the golf course, have not discussed them yet, committee Chairman Robert Spnngborn said today. He suggested there should be consideration to charging the use "a greater percentage of the cost of providing service." Springborn said the committee has received the fee increase proposal "but we haven't met on it yet." He said the committee might look at the proposal during its meeting Thursday night. The committee is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the courthouse prior to a 9:30 p.m.
