Thunderstorms are expected in parts of Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, the Gulf states from Texas to Florida, and parts of Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York. Fond du Lac Today, mostly sunny, hot and very humid.

High 90 to 95. Winds from the south and southwest from 10 to 20 mph. Tonight, fair and muggy, with lows in the lower 70s and a light southwest wind. Tuesday, mostly sunny, hot and humid, with highs 90 to 95. Wednesday through Friday, hot and humid weather will persist through most of the period.

There is a chance for thunderstorms statewide on Friday. Highs in the 90s are expected through the week. Arson in forests becoming serious Mrs. Amend Mrs. Grace A.

Amend, 77, of Sarasota, died Saturday, July 18, 1987, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Amend was born April 3, 1910, a daughter to Charles and Minnie Reschke in Fond du Lac. She was later married to Gustave A. Amend.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Wayne A. of Fond du Lac; two daughters, Gloria A. Mowrey of Denver, and Karen Becker of Littleton, one brother, Howard Reschke of Fond du Lac; two sisters, Lucille Celia of Iron Mountain, and Caroline Rathman of Fond du Lac; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Toale Brothers Funeral Home Golf Gate Chapel, Sarasota.

The Rev. David W. Lynn will officiate. The body will be cremated. There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be directed to Holy Cross Lutheran Church Memorial Garden Fund, Sarasota, or the American Cancer Society. Svlvester D. Wildenberg, 76, formerly of 501 Van Dyne Road, North Fond du Lac, a resident of Americana Healthcare Center since May, died Sunday, July 19, 1987, at Americana. Mr. Wildenberg was born Sept.

19, 1910, to John and Catherine Steam Wildenberg in Van Dyne. On Sept. 23, 1935, he married Mary Hickey at the Church of the Presentation, North Fond du Lac. He was a member of the Church of the Presentation and was formerly employed by the Chicago North Western Railroad for 31 years as a machinist. He was a charter member of the Van Dyne Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of the Church of the Presentation Holy Name Society.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Daniel (Marguerite) Zoellner of Stillwater, Mrs. Leo (Catherine) Streblow of Route 5 and Mrs. Renee Hickey of Lincoln, Neb. and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of the Presentation. The Rev.

SHAW Army Maj. Timothy J. Shaw, son of Frank L. and Virginia H. Shaw, 275 Bayberry Lane, has arrived for duty with the Letterman Army Medical Center, the Presidio of San Francisco.

In Idaho alone, arsonists have sparked at least six fires already this summer in national forests and on Bureau of Land Management range, made tinder-dry by the state's worst drought in a decade.

The blazes have charred more than 2,000 acres of valuable timber and grazing land, destroyed a $150,000 house, several cars and a fire engine and threatened remote ranch houses. The fire season is still young. "We're just seeing the tip of the iceberg, said Fire Management Officer Gene Benedict of the Payette National Forest. "It isn't just that somebody sets a fire; there's starting to be some costs associated with it, some property lost and lives endangered," Benedict said. "The people who have that kind of Edmund N.

Sonnentag, 95, a resident of Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, died Sunday, July 19, 1987, at Rolling Meadows. Mr. Sonnentag was born Feb. 19, 1892, to Frank and Mary Sonnentag in Rubicon. On Nov.

12, 1912, he married Elsie Krapfl at St. Andrew Church, LeRoy. She died in 1966. He was a member of St. Mary's Church and the Holy Name Society.

Prior to retirement, he was employed for many years at Quic-frez. Survivors include three sons, Armond of Neenah, and Harold and Vern, both of Fond du Lac; one daughter, Mrs. Alex (Marie) Stephany of Fond du 18 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Ed (Julia) Reible of Beaver Dam. He was preceded in death by three brothers.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Zacherl Funeral Home and at 1:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Church. The Rev.

Alois Van Beek will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Anton Kiefer Funeral services for Anton J.

Kiefer, 74, of Route 1, Malone, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The Rev. Julio Miralbes will officiate. Entombment will be in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum.

Friends may call today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Kiefer died Saturday, July 18, 1987, at his home. He was born March 23, 1913, to George and Catherine Hilbert Kiefer in Lomira.

On Nov. 10, 1934, he married Elizabeth Phillips at St. Mary's Church, Lomira. He farmed in the Lomira area most of his life and was later employed by Mercury Marine. Survivors include his wife; and two brothers, Bernard of North Fond du Lac and Lawrence.

He was preceded in death by two brothers. Benno Simon Funeral arrangements are pending at the Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira, for Benno P. Simon, 71, of 1009 Main Lomira. Mr. Simon died today, July 20, 1987, at St.

Agnes Hospital. Sister Loyola Sister Loyola Hettinger, CSA, 96, a resident of Nazareth Heights, died Saturday, July 18, 1987, at Nazareth Heights. She was born March 30, 1891, a daughter to August and Anna Weiman Hettinger in New York, N.Y. She was professed on Aug. 15, 1919.

She served in hospital ministry in Wisconsin and Kansas. There; are no immediate survivors. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Nazareth Heights Chapel. The Rev.

He was a graduate of Sheboygan Falls public schools and was employed at Bemis Manufacturing, Sheboygan Falls, for 47 years, retiring in 1972. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Sheboygan Falls.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Albert (Sherry) Duley of Fond du Lac; one granddaughter; and one brother, Arnold of Milwaukee. He was preceded in death by two sisters ana two Drotners. Mrs. Hazelwood Mrs.

Laura Hazelwood, 101, of Markesan, died Saturday, July 18, 1987, at Riverdale Manor Nursing Home, Markesan. Mrs. Hazelwood was born Oct. 9, 1885, a daughter to Edward and Marion Fortnum Farnsworth in the Town of Green Lake. On July 28, 1909, she was married to Amos H.

Hazelwood in Ripon. She was a member of Markesan United Methodist Church and its Ladies Circle. She was also a charter member of the Markesan Garden Club and a member of the First Homemakers Association of Green Lake County. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Marion Schmeck of Markesan; two sons, Edward of Ripon and Ross of Markesan; five grandchildren: 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Dr.

Harry Farnsworth of Tucson, and one sister, Bessie Bordner of Washington, D.C. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 30, 1940, and one sister. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Wachholz-Krause Funeral Home, Markesan. The Rev.
