Joseph Molitar from Holiday Auto will speak on how to winterize cars. Refreshments will be served.

Klaus Wickl will be signing his GNOME Ornaments Figurines, Today at Kristmas Kringle Shoppe from lpm-4pm. The Fond du Lac Chapter of Self Help for Hard of Hearing (SHHH) hosts Roger Kraft, manager of Wisconsin Telecommunications Relay System, at 7 p.m.

A son, Joseph Michael, was born to John and Bridget Murphy of the Town of Menasha on Tuesday, Oct. 10, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton. The Murphys are former Fond du Lac residents. We have an opening for an event December 9th.

Brownsville Community Club, 583-4550 Loaves- and Fishes will serve a meal at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Louis Church. Samaritan Free Health Clinic will be open from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Appointments are not required but registration ends at 8 p.m. An Alcoholics Anonymous meeting will be held today at 7:30 p.m. at the Gratitude Club. Meetings Monday will be held at 10 a.m. at Winnebagoland Central and at 10 a.m.

at the Gratitude Club; at 7:15 p.m. at St. Agnes Hospital and at 7 p.m. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Ripon.

Theisen Parent Network will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19 at the school cafeteria. The topic will be "Everything you wanted to know about Theisen but were afraid to ask." 9. Audrey Kempfer Audrey B. Kempfer, 83, of 494 Greenwood died Saturday, Oct. 14, 1995, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home, She was born Dec. 3, 1911, in Oconomowoc, a daughter of Rein-hard and Melinda Peterson Neit-zel.

On Oct. 8, 1932, she married Francis G. Kempfer in Monroe, Mrs. Kempfer was a graduate of Oconomowoc High School and lived in Milwaukee and Waupun before moving to Fond du Lac in 1950. She had been employed with the public school lunch program while her husband was employed with Giddings Lewis.

She also had been employed with St. Agnes Hospital. She was a member of Imman-uel-Trinity Lutheran Church, its Chancel Guild and the Ruth Circle. Survivors include her husband; three children, Francis E. Kempfer and his wife Melody of Milwaukee, Judge James R.

Kempfer and his wife Loralee of Oconto, and Ellen L. Yeatts and her husband James of Altavista, seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one brother, Rueben Neitzel and his wife Hazel of Watertown; and two sisters, Ina Pence and her husband Claude of Vallejo, and Vera Dersch and her husband Ray who reside in Florida and Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services: At 1 1 a.m. Monday at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church.

The Rev. James S. Rasmus and the Rev. David Redman will officiate. Entombment will be at Ledgeview Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Visitation: From 5 to 7 p.m. today at Mach Funeral Chapel and from 9:30 a.m. to the hour of services Monday at the church. Memorials may be directed to Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church. Alexandra Sabel Infant Alexandra Marie Sabel, 3 months, of 45 S.

Military Road, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 1995, at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah. She was born June 23, 1995, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Tammy Sabel, Survivors include her mother of Fond du Lac; one brother Jonathan Sabel of Fond du Lac; grandparents, Roger and Cindy Bennett of Fond du Lac; great-grandmothers, Sally Kryzyanowski of Fond du Lac and Marjorie Bennett of Oshkosh; two uncles, Scott Sabel and Robert Bennett, both of Fond du Lac; one aunt, April Bennett of Fond du Lac; and one great-aunt, Lori Brown of Fond du Services: Will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The Rev.

James Klein will officiate. Burial will be at Es-tabrooks Cemetery. Visitation: From 2 p.m. to the hour of services Monday at the funeral home. DEATH Russell Cordcr Russell D.

Corder, 71, died Friday, Oct. 13, 1995, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home where he resided. He was born Nov. 20, 1923, in Casper, a son of Alva L. and Katherine Fisher Corder.

Mr. Corder was a graduate of the University of Denver with a bachelor of arts degree and received his master's degree in language from the University of Madrid. He was a former professor of language from 1959 to 1981 with Allan Hancock College, Santa Maria, Calif. He was an accomplished organist and pianist and was very active in liturgical music in his home parish of St. Mary's in Santa Maria.

Mr. Corder was also a volunteer interpreter at the Shrine of Lourdes. Survivors include his second mom, Marie V. Corder Green of Fond du Lac; one sister, Kay Smeaton and her husband Don of Fond du Lac; one brother, Don and his wife Betty of Arvada, five nieces and five nephews; 12 grandnieces and grand-nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother.

Services: At 4:30 p.m. today at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home Chapel. The Rev. Hilary Zach and the Rev. John Stein-brecher will officiate.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation: The family will receive friends and relatives from 4 p.m. today until the hour of services at the Lutheran Home Chapel. Memorials may be directed to the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home or Allan Hancock College Foundation. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Dorothy Merrick Dorothy Merrick, 68, of Mun-delein, 111., died Friday, Oct. 13, 1995, at Condell Medical Center. She was born Feb. 23, 1927, in Fond du Lac. Survivors include three daughters, Jacqueline Gregson and her husband Michael of San Jose, Margaret Ragucci and her husband Martin of Schaumberg, 111., and Geraldine Patricia Rodberg and her husband Marty of Mun-delein; eight grandchildren; Karen Ritter, Timothy Holt, Andrew Holt, Mark Ragucci, Michael Ragucci, Maureen Ragucci, Catherine Rodberg and Steven Rodberg; one brother, Robert Olson and his wife Elverta of Hilbert; and one sister, Elizabeth Bullock and her husband Ernest of Brookfield.

Preceding her in death were her husband Gerald Merrick and one granddaughter, Diane Marie Rodberg. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Santa Maria del Popolo Church. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the Kristan Funeral Home, 219 W. Maple St. (Highway 176), Mun-delein. Phone: 708-566-8020.

Harold Sonncntag Harold William Sonncntag, 81, of 30 Prestige Circle, died Friday, Oct. 13, 1995, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born May 17, 1914, in LcRoy, a son of Edmund and Elsie Krapfl Sonncntag. On July 12, 1938, he married Mary Louise Do-lan at St.

Joseph's Church in Fond du Lac. Mr. Sonnentag was an engineer with the Soo Line Railroad in Fond du Lac for 38 years until his retirement in 1975. He was a third degree member of the Knights of Columbus No. 664 and St4 Joseph's Catholic Church, Fond du Lac.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Richard and his wife Karen of Wales; Robert and his wife Sandy of Toccoa, three daughters, Mary Beth Burnett and her husband Richard, Jane Petersen and her husband Brian, and Jean Smet and her husband John, all of Fond du Lac; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Armond J. and his wife Margaret of Neenah and Vern E. and his wife Ruth of Fond du Lac; one sister, Marie Stephany of Fond du Lac. Preceding him in death were his parents. Services: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m.

Tuesday at Zacherl Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. The Rev. Thomas Walker will officiate.

Entombment will be at the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation: From 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Zacherl Funeral Home with a parish vigil at 7 p.m. Leona Mueller Leona C. Mueller, 90, formerly of New Holstein and a resident of Marietta, since 1990, died Friday Oct.

1 3 1 995 in Marietta. She was born Aug. 22, 1905, in Calumetville in the Town of Calumet, a daughter of Anton and Kathryn Gross Korb. In 1928, she married Edgar H. Mueller at St.

Mary's Catholic Church in Mary-town. Mrs. Mueller was employed with Lauson Engine now Tecum-seh Products, and Kestell Furniture both in New Holstein. She was a long-time member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein and its Christian Women's Society. Survivors include one son, Arlan J.

and his wife Carol of Alpharetta, two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 13, 1959; one brother, Elroy Korb and one sister, Irma Voelker. Services: Will be held at 1 1 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein.

The Rev. Patrick Lloyd will officiate. Burial will be at Holy Rosary Cemetery. Visitation: Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Erbe-Evjen Funeral Home in New Holstein and from 9:30 a.m.

to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A Christian Women's rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Due to a private fund raiser, Blanck's Supper Club will be closed Tuesday, October 17th. Sorry for any inconvenience.
