Michael graduated from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a bachelor's degree in chemistry in 2003. He is currently a doctoral candidate in inorganic chemistry at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Danielle, a 2001 graduate of Saint Ignatius College Prep in Chicago, Illinois, will complete her bachelor's degree in International Politics and Law from Georgetown University in Washington, DC in May 2011. A June 2011 wedding is planned in Chicago.

The couple will have a dinner with immediate family at the Rosendale Municipal Building on Sunday, September 12th.

They were married on September 15th, 1950 at Second Christian Reformed Church in Randolph.

The Rev. B.T. Haan officiated. Ed was the founder and owner of Homan Auto Sales, Inc. of Waupun and Flora was a homemaker.

They will celebrate with a family dinner with the immediate family at Sunset Supper Club. Both have been members of Holy Family Church St. Peters since they returned to Fond du Lac when they retired in 1985. The Deusters have three sons, Fr. Matthew (Cal) at the Vatopaidi Monastery, Mt. Athos, Greece, Bob (Melinda) of Glenview, IL, Dan (Mary) of Fond du Lac.
