Please consult your funeral director formore information. FOND DU LAC John W. LaShay, age 69, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, October 26, 2020, at Grancare Nursing Home.He was born on June 14, 1951, in Fond du Lac, the son of Arthur LaShay Sr. and Violet (Marsh) Briesmeister.

On June 14, 1975, John married Nyla Sturtz in Fond du Lac. John worked at Sadoff Iron and Met- al Company for a few years. He enjoyed deer hunting and devoted his life to helping others. Survivors include his wife Nyla; his children, Jeremy LaShay, Chris- tina Kugler, and Lisa LaShay; five grandchil- dren; three Tomkin, Patricia Schil- ling, Tammy Briesmeis- ter; one brother, Jack Briesmeister; and other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Becky LaShay; one sister, Sherry Ga- lonski; one LaShay Jr. A celebration of life service will take place at a later date.

She was born on August 5, 1928 to Alvin and Mary (Del Ponte) Marini inHighland Park, Illinois. On February 2, 1949, at St. Lu- theran Church in the Town of Forest. Ann worked over the years for Tolibia Cheese Factory in the Mt. Calvary area and also working for PiggyWiggly in Fond du Lac.Along with these jobs, Ann helped on the family farm with her husband Wally, especially catching the pigs with the laundry basket.

She wait forWally to come home from Elephant hunting. Ann was an avid reader and worked on many puzzles. She loved to do the at every wedding. She enjoyed playing cards, watch- ing the Forest East Shore Baseball League and especially spending time with her family. Ann is survived by her five children, Susie (John- ny Engel) Bowe of Fond du Lac, Steve (Shelley) Bowe of Green Bay, Mike (Mary) Bowe of Town of Forest, Bruce (Becca) Bowe of Fond du Lac and Cindy (Jerry) Mueller of town of Forest; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Wally; a sister, Elda Ditter; and her parents. A private family funeral service will take place on Friday October 30, 2020 at St. Lutheran Church in the Town of Forest starting at 10:00 AM. zacherlfuneralhome.com Ann Bowe OF RURAL NEW HOLSTEIN Mary L. (Schnei- der) Bares joined the angels on Sunday, October 25, 2020, after passing away peacefully in her sleep. She spent her last day surrounded by all of the she and her husband, Chuck, made celebrating her youngest first birthday and walking around the land where they had just built a house in the Town of NewHolstein. Mary was born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, to David and Bernice Schneider on February 4, 1953. She married Charles (Chuck) Bares on December 28, 1974, who she met singing in a folk group at a local parish.

They lived in Marion, Wisconsin briefly before establishing their long- term home in Elkhart Lake. There, they raised their four boys, Aaron and she devoted her life to.After teachingmusic for a year at a Catholic school in Fond du Lac, she spent 17 years sharing her passion for music and developing young minds as the music teacher and Gifted Talented teacher for Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah schools. She inspired a love of learning and the arts within countless children that has and will continue to influence each of their lives. After retirement, she joyfully filled her time babysitting for her grand- kids every week building forts, making art, reading books and imagining and creating anything that sounded fun for them. Her creativity, curiosity, smile, open-mind and open-heart will continue to live on through them for generations to come.

She is survived by her children, Eliot and Colin grandchildren Dakota (Nathan) andGavin (Nathan), siblings John Schneider (Ellen) Schneider, Ruth (Bill) Olig and Bill Schneider. She is now reunited with both of her parents and her father-in-law mother-in-law, Edwin Betty Bares. Mary will live-on through all of us whenever we live life to its fullest, pri- oritize what we love, are kind to ourselves and others, learn a poem, sing a song or add to the beauty of nature, and when we eat pizza.
