Please consult your funeral director formore information. FOND DU LAC -Ronald E. Pauly, age 84, of Fond du Lac, died on Thurs- day, November 19, 2020, at St. Agnes Hospital.

He was born on April 20, 1936, in Chil- ton, the son of Joseph and Nellie (Koehler) Pauly. Ron served in the United States Navy. Ron worked forMichels Corporation and then owned and operated The Other Place from 1969-91. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying everything outdoors including fishing, hunting, golfing, and ridingmotorcycles.He had a passion traveling with his soulmate in their RV for the last thirty-five years. Ronwas a longtimemember of Fond du Lac Eagles Aerie He loved being around people especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Ron will always be remembered for his big hugs. Survivors include his soulmate of fifty-two years, Patricia Trombley; children, Carla Ohlson, Cathy (Ed) Lipke, Debbie (Steve) Riese, Larry (Debra) Trombley, Joe (Candi) Trombley, Jesse (Jean) Pauly, Lisa Trombley, Linda (Kurt) Pauly, Ringo (Michele) (Michelle) grandchildren, great-grandchil- dren and great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; four children, Terry Trombley, Mary Beck-Crook, Ron W. Pauly, and Mike Spurlock; one granddaughter, Heather Lipke. There will be no services or visitation.

Pauly FOND DU LAC David Lee Steinke, 81, of Fond du Lac, passed away on November 23, 2020 at St.Agnes Hospital. Dave was born on October 21, 1939 to Ed- win and Irene (Guyette) Steinke in Fond du Lac.

Dave graduated from North Fond du LacHigh School class of 1958. After high school, Dave proudly served in the US Army. After his time in the service, Dave went to work for Chicago Northwestern Railroad. He retired as a conductor from the Union Pacific Railroad. Dave was an avid fisherman, especially fishing for Musky.He enjoyed watching the Packers, Brewers, and Wisconsin Badgers; usually attending one game during the fall.

Dave loved spending time with is grandchildren, who will dearly miss him. David is survived by his children, Glenn and Becky Steinke, Jeff and Gina Steinke, Julie and JayHeld and Sue Steinke; step-daughter, Deb and TimOconner; Goldberg; andDavid Goron; and Dawn Steinke; sisters-in-law, Rose and Don Winke, Esther and John McIntosh; brothers-in- law, Ron andAndrea Schmitz; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends left behind. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gary; step-daughter, LauraWhite; Goldberg; and sister-in-law, Karen Schmitz. According wishes there are no services. Cremation has taken place.

Cloud, 23, 2020 after a coura- geous battle with cancer. He was born in Fond du Lac on May 10, 1956 to Leander and Dorothy (Hackbarth) Lefeber. Kevin was a 1974 gradu- ate of NewHolsteinHigh School.On June 11, 1983 he married Janet Pitzen in St. Cloud. Kevin loved his grandchildren; they were his everything.

His true passion was hunting on his hunting land and spending time in the woods. Kevin also enjoyed fishing and spending time on his boat. For twenty years he was one of the Hunter Education instructors at RiversideHunting and Fishing Club and for ten years served on the zoning committee for the Town of Forest. Kevin worked as a nutritionist for forty years in the agricultural field. Survivors include his wife, Janet; two daughters, Angela (Dan) Smith of AlisoViejo, CA and Laura (Kyle) Gehrke of Campbellsport; three grandchil- and Finley Smith, and Carter Gehrke, He is further survived by four (Jane) (Mary Jo) Lefeber, and LeAnn (Jeff) Gerner; his parents, Francis and Theresa Pitzen; four brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law; andmany nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents.

Wiener BROOKFIELD Don- ald Schaub, age 86 of Brookfield, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Virginia High- lands Health and Rehab Center Germantown. He was born July 22, 1934 in Fond du Lac.

Don is survived by De- lores, his wife of over 56 years. Other survivors include 5 sons; Gary (Barbara) Schaub of North Fond du Lac, Jeffrey (Cathy) Schaub of Lamar- tine, Robert (Chris Botticchio) Schaub of Kewas- (Sue) Schaub ofWaupun, Steve (Erika) Schaub of West Bend, his brother, Norman Schaub of West Bend. He is also survived by six grandchildren; Daniel, and Jennifer. Don was preceded in death by his man and Cecilia, stepmother Germaine Schaub, and step brother Robert Foertsch. Delores and Don had a love for their dogs, they even pursued showing several.His brother Norm (Butch) andDonwere partners in the business NJ Sons, a drywall and plastering construc- tion firmwhich was originally located in the Fond du Lac area.

It was relocated to theMilwaukee area under their ownership.After retirement from the family pursued his interest in video production of weddings and picture slide shows. He had this saying he would tell the officiant at the weddings to get a little chuckle from them and lately he would use it to say goodbye to us; see you in church if the windows are clean! Now he will be watching over us not only in church but during our daily endeavors. Private family services will be held at a later date. Donald Schaub FOND DU LAC Donald Peterson, 79, of Fond du Lac, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020. Don was born September 25, 1941 in Fond du Lac, the son of Ralph and Bernice (Ayotte) Peterson. After graduating from Goodrich High School, he served in the U.S. Army. While in the service he married Helen Mill- er on February 22, 1962 in Olympia, Washington.

After his military service, Don worked at Giddings Lewis for 40 years and raised four children on McKinley Street in Fond du Lac. He was an avid baseball and softball player; he was on the 1959 FDL Legion team that won the state tournament. He played softball for many teams most notably winning the State Industrial Championship in 1969. Don was one of the co-founders of the FDL Wres- tling Club and started the program coaching youth wrestling for many years. He was also a WIAA basketball official for over 40 years, hanging up the whistle just a few years ago.

Don loved going to the FDL YMCA and working out every day. He took great pride in his fitness and biked over 500 miles every summer. He also loved dancing and could be found a wher- ever there was live music. Don had a great sense of humor and is famous for his great jokes and storytelling. Don is survived by his children, Mark (Cindy) Peterson of Eden, Brian (Lisa) Peterson of Malone, Michelle (Tim) Burns of Appleton, and Darrin (Tanya) Peterson of Fond du Lac; his grandchildren, Parker (Kayla) Peterson of Eden, Peyton (Rashaun) Sparks of Fond du Lac, Austin Peterson of Fond du Lac, Spencer Peterson of Duluth, MN, Lexi Peterson of Malone, Megan, Macy, and Ben Burns of Appleton, Emily and Mason Peterson of Fond du Lac; his brother, Raymond (Deborah) Peterson of Florida; brothers-in-law, Edwin (Lynn) Miller, John (Denise) Miller, Robert (Barbara) Miller, Frank Miller, Mike Davis, and Dale McCullough; sisters-in-law, Darlene Drew, Betty (Dale) Lemke, and Patty Miller; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Bernice Peterson; his wife, Helen; his sister, Dolly Johnson; his brother, Bill Peterson; brothers- in-law, Jim Johnson, Eugene Miller, Marvin Miller, Erv Miller, Herb Shady, Robert Pownell, and Dick Drew; sisters-in-law, Maggie McCullough, Irene Shady, Mabel Pownell, and Rosie Davis. A private family memorial service will be held, and inurnment will follow in Rienzi Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
