Please consult your funeral director for more information. FOND DU LAC Vio- let R. Frank (nee Vogel), of Fond du Lac, passed away on Saturday, Janu- ary 16, 2021 at St. Agnes Hospital.

She was born on March 31, 1938 in Jackson, WI, the daugh- ter of the late William and Alma Vogel (nee Nicolaus). Violet grad- uated from Cedarburg High School in 1956 and on September 21, 1957, she married Dale Frank at Star Lutheran Church in Jackson. In January of 1971, theymoved to Fond du Lacwhere they owned and operated the Empire Bar for over 17 years. Violet also worked at Faith Lutheran Church as a Secretary for 18 years. During retirement, she enjoyed visiting people in nursing homes, quilting, and baking.

Violet was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Ladies of Faith, Faithful Quilters, and the Empire Social Club.Above all else, she loved the time spent with her family. She will be missed by her husband, Dale; chil- dren, Jeanette (Gary) Gudex, Nancy (Reuben) Schmitz, Jeffrey (Brenda) Frank, and Gary Frank (special friendMaryHalada); olas (Melissa) (Mitchell) Hoppe, Tyler (Stephanie) Schmitz III, Ben- jamin (Emily) Schmitz, Rebekah Schmitz, Joshua (Annie) Frank, and Caleb Frank; great-grandchildren, Cassandra and Jonathon Gudex, Samuel Schmitz, Joshua Hoppe, and Hunter Gudex; sisters-in-law, Betty Vogel and Maxine Frank. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Mary Frank and SummerViolet Frank; brothers, OliverVogel and ElmerVogel; sister, Leona Kurtz; brothers-in-law, William Kurtz, Orville Frank; sis- ter-in-law, Helen Frank. Mike was born onApril 10, 1948 to the late Jo- seph andDolores (Krumbein) Solamita in Fond du After graduation, he was drafted into the U.S.Army and held the rank of Specialist. He served one tour during the VietnamWar and was stationed out of Fort After the War, Mike returned to his home state where he was an independent cement finisher for over 30 years, where he worked with many local construction companies on both residential and commercial development. He was an avid fish- erman, hunter, gardener and cook and enjoyed watching oldWesterns.Hewas also a long-standing supporter of Ducks Unlimited and Veterans of ForeignWars. Mike is survived by his companion of 25 years, of his Sheldon of Menasha, Wisconsin and his siblings Dick (Joan) Solamita of Fond du Lac, Kathy (Tom) Sell of North Fond du Lac and Laurie Solamita, of He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Dolores, and his sister Karen (Steve) Thresher of Prescott, Arizona. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Milwaukee VA Medical Center for their compassionate care.

He will be buried in the spring at the Central WisconsinVeteransMemorial Cemetery in King, Wisconsin with a grave side service officiated by the Honor Guard. Michael W. Solamita WAUPUN Debra Kok, 64, of Waupun, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 15, 2021 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac with her family by her side.

Deb was born inWaupun on May 18, 1956 the daughter of Raymond and Marion Berghammer Dolgner. Deb graduated from Waupun High School in 1974. She worked at grocery stores and was a babysitter for many years. On October 16, 1993 she married Jerome Kok atWaupun United Methodist Church and continued to be very active, served onmany committees, and was involved in several fundraisers. Deb enjoyed coloring, com- pleting puzzles, baking, and most importantly spending time with her family.

Deb is survived by her husband of 27 years, Je- rome, of Waupun; a daughter, Karissa (Anthony) Kok of Brandon; bonus children: Eric (Susan) Kok of SC, and Laura (Jeremy) DeMaa ofWaupun; six grandchildren: Logan (Meghan), Jax, Sydney, and Lydia; her parents, Raymond (Marion) Dolgner; two sisters: Doris (Curt) Core and Diane (Rod) Randrup; two brothers: Dan (Valerie) Dolgner andDouglas (Darlene) Dolgner; and many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her father-in- law and mother-in-law, Harold and Janet Kok; grandparents; and brother-in-law, Glendon Kok. A visitation for Debra Kok will be heldWednes- day, January 20, 2021 from 4-7 p.m. at Wer- ner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun. Please follow Covid-19 safety protocol.
