Darold Naomi LOWELL The driver of a horse and buggy trav- eling along a Dodge County highway Friday morning was seriously injured when an SUV struck the buggy. According to the Dodge County the horse and buggy was traveling east on State ap- proaching County Highway J. An SUV traveling behind the horse and buggy struck the back of the buggy, ejecting the lone occu- pant. The buggy driver sustained severe injuries and was taken by LifeNet helicopter to UW Hospital in Madi- son.

The SUV driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to Medical Center in Beaver Dam. The horse was injured but is alive and in the care of its owner. State was closed for approximately three hours while the crash was being investigated. Beaver Dam paramedics, Reeseville, Lowell and Clyman departments and Reeseville re- sponders also assisted at the scene. Free, weekly mobile testing will launch Sept. 14 in Fond du Lac and Rosendale for county residents ages 2 and older. A mobile unit from Accelerated Clinical Laborato- ries will tests from 12 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays at the Rosendale Community Center, 211 N. Grant Rosen- dale; and from 12 to 5 p.m.
